This is a personal branding project I created for a made-up boba tea bar. After creating a more serious and sophisticated brand, I wanted to do the opposite and create something bright, fun, and for a younger demographic.
The creative brief for this brand is as follows:
Audience: 13-35, women/girls
Tone: Laid-back, trendy, fun, exciting, carefree, young
Objective: This bar hopes to spread its love for boba and reach a young audience with trendy and cute designs that make it stand out against other boba franchises. This bar would be ideal for both children, young adults, and millennials.
Deliverables: Brand graphics, InDesign menu layout, social media ads.

This project has become one of my favorites, but I did face a few problems while creating it.
The first was the logo. While I am happy overall with this, I still feel as if more could be done to it. Nevertheless, I think this logo follows my creative brief well. I wanted something that felt almost child-like, but that could appeal to even the oldest of my target audience. After creating the outline for the logo, I decided that putting the colors outside of the outline gave it that more child-like feel.
Another challenge I faced while creating this project was handling the deliverables. There were a lot of firsts for me here, like the animated gifs/videos for social media, the menu, and the realistic advertisement. Doing research for these and learning how they should be formatted and designed was a fun experience, and this knowledge is something that I can use for my future designs.

Software used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign
